Domain Registration
If you do not currently have a web address, Momentum Web Works will assist you in choosing a domain name that is right for you and registering it with a reputable registrar. You will always retain ownership of your domain. We never purchase client domains in our company's name.
Design
The design of your site is critical. It will often provide someone's first impression of your business or organization. To accomplish your goals, the design process includes the following steps:

Consultation - We will meet to determine what your basic needs are. This is when we learn about your vision for the site and what it needs to accomplish.

Analysis - Based on the information gained during the consultation, we complete an analysis of your business goals and how they can be met via your website.

Proposal - Using the analysis, a proposal is written that outlines in detail what it will take to achieve your objectives. This also includes a discussion of pricing and the time frame for launching your web site. It ensures that everyone involved is on the same page about what the needs are and how they will be met.

Development -Site development begins and you will have the opportunity to monitor the process and provide input to ensure that your goals are being met. You will have access to our Client InfoCenter which allows you to upload graphics and other content prior to the launch of your site. You will also be able to monitor the development process.

Launch and Maintenance - The site is made available to the public once you approve the final design. Your site will be maintained according to the maintenance agreement that meets your needs.
Web site Hosting
Your site will be hosted on our web servers. These servers are state of the art and use the latest server technology. They are housed at one of the premier data centers in the U.S., featuring multiple OC12 connections with AT&T, Qwest, and Sprint. Your web site is guaranteed to be online because of these outstanding connections, combined with a precision environment and uninterruptible power supplies.
Site Management
You will always be in control of the content on your site. The Web Update System allows you to make basic changes at any time. A maintenance schedule is typically part of most design agreements. This ensures that your online presence always represents your organization accurately.
There may be times when you want to make changes that are beyond the scope of your agreement. In these situations, we will go through a modified version of the pre-development consultation process. This ensures that major changes to your site will be handled with the same attention to detail used in the initial design. As always, you will receive our up front "surprise-free" pricing.
Marketing
Now that you have a web site, what's next? Your web site is only effective if it is seen by your target market. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one aspect of marketing your web site but there are additional strategies that will help your efforts. These are discussed and planned with you as part of the development process.
